At Express Credit Union, we believe your first steps into adulting should be exciting, not overwhelming. That’s why we’ve designed our accounts and services to meet you where you are, with real people ready to help when you need it.
If you’re 15 or older with a valid WA State ID or driver’s license, you can open your own account. No parent required. At 18+, you’re eligible and can start using loans and credit cards. All you need is to live or work in Washington and meet our membership requirements. Learn more.
Express CU Kids Club Account
Savings = Success.
It’s never to early to start saving. Open an Express Kids Club account to teach your child smart saving skills, establish a relationship with local Credit Union, and we’ll match your opening deposit with $5 to help them get started. Start your child on the right track today with a kids account from Express CU.
To create an account for a youth under 13 you can call us M-F between 10am-5pm, send us an email request to expresscu@expresscu.org or send us a secure message and we can send you the proper forms to complete. For youth between the ages of 15-17 you can complete the online application to get started, see young adult spending accounts.
One step Further - By setting up automatic recurring transfers from your account, Parent/Grandparent/Relative, to the Kids Club account you'll ensure not to spend money you intended to give to them.
*Express Kids club is for children under 18. An initial deposit of $5 will be added to the Express Kids Club account when opened. Federally Insured by NCUA.
