Express CU is continuing to offer a 0% APR* Emergency Loan to those who have been negatively impacted by COVID. We understand that adding another debt isn't the right option for everyone. This is an option that we are offering to help you make ends meet, fill a gap in income or cover a large expense due to being impacted by COVID. We want to help you get through this tough time. With our COVID-19 Emergency Loan, you have the option to borrow money with exceptional terms to help you get back on your feet.

To qualify for this loan, you must be eligible for membership with Express CU - Live or work in WA state, and have decreased income or increased expenses due to COVID19. Due to parameters placed by funders of this program to qualify for the 0% option you must live in Snohomish, King, Pierce, Kitsap, Thurston and Mason Counties.

Skip a Payment

Do you have an existing loan with Express CU? Do you need to skip your next months’ payment due to the COVID 19 Stay at home order and potential job loss?

We are waiving skip a pay fees and offering to skip up to 90 days of payments. To request a skip we need you to complete a questionnaire and skip a payment form by clicking on the DocuSign link below. Once you complete the forms our loan department will receive a copy and reach back out to you to notify if skip was approved and next steps. You can also email loans@expresscu.org if you have questions.

In an era of information overload we just wanted to share a few resources for those who may not qualify for federal assistance programs.

Express CU staff are following guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention . They are a reliable source regarding prevention and care if you’ve come in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID 19.

United Way of King County – With so many people struggling from the financial impact of COVID 19 they are updating their list of resources regularly. Keep an eye out for their rental assistance programs and more! This site is VERY helpful.

WAISN – Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network has a Hotline to call and they can help connect you to resources (1-844-724-3737). Their new "Resource Finder" is now available https://waisn.herokuapp.com/. You can search by what resource you need, use keywords to help find resources and also by your location. This resource is geared towards immigrants and their families

The City of Seattle Office of Economic Development, in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, has created a Small Business Stabilization Fund. Grants to small businesses affected by the new coronavirus outbreak will be available up to $10,000.

Visit the website of the U.S. Small Business Administration. You can apply and obtain information on Disaster Assistance and low-interest small business loans with extensive repayment plans. The U.S. SBA office has programs for small business owners to recover from the impact that COVID-19 has caused them.
